Linked to from the Dashboard One of the All Calendars
Facility-wide calendar that shows events from every organizations.
Toggle buttons at the top let you filter every org, general events, and social/community.
Can change the calendar view to Day/Week/Month/List. The List view does not show past events, only future.
Clicking events allows for edit/delete. Edit opens a modal. There is no way to link to individual events.
Clicking ”+ event” opens a modal window (the same as the “edit event” modal). The “created by” is not a field, it pulls the name straight from the user who created it.
Issues:
Switching to List view does not hide the < Today > navigation elements, and clicking forward/back causes a page refresh, even though no navigation occurs (the page content is always the same). In all views, nav elements show < Today >, never < This Week > or < This Month >.
List view appears to load all events without pagination, etc.
There is no way to tie an event to other users (invitees, etc.). Only the event creator is shown. Is this intentional?
Changing any fields resets the date. So if a user picks a day and time, then sets the organization, they have to set the day and time again. Calendar UI to pick date and time is very finicky.
Facilities Related: Calendar does not connect with: g-suite calendar / the directory meeting booker, or the facilities calendar. The Facilities Events in this main calendar are not tied to the events in the separate Facilities calendar.
The Facilities events calendar includes specific locations (grandstand, podcast room, etc.), but in this calendar “location” is a text field not tied to the data model.
